Victoria Hedlund is founder of GenEd Labs and a leading voice on equitable, bias-aware use of generative AI in education. Known widely as Bias Girl, she is one of LinkedIn’s Top 12 AI Voices to Follow in Europe and editor of the landmark collective volume AI Bias in Education: Performing Critical Oversight, bringing together contributors from across the global #BiasAware community to shape the next stage of ethical practice in schools, universities, and EdTech.
Victoria works with universities, local authorities, multi academy trusts, and teacher-training providers to embed ethical, pedagogically grounded approaches to AI. She convenes the nationwide TeacherEd AI Network and leads the Generative AI in Teacher Education Summit.
She is the creator of LessonInspector.ai and author of 100 Quick GenAI Prompts for Teachers and Educators. Her work features across national and international conferences including the ASE Annual Conference 2026, the AIEOU Conference, and the Back to School AI Summit.
Across all her projects, Victoria focuses on how AI reshapes knowledge, identity, cognition, and equity in education. Her consultancy is grounded in the principle that the learning is in the iterative process of prompting, not the output, helping educators lead with confidence, critical oversight, and social justice at the centre.
Johan is a born "techie" and Cloud Architect, who has spent the last 25 years working his way through a variety of different positions in Software Development, starting out in Bioinformatics, then Finance, then Cloud Architecture, culminating in being lucky enough to be able to work full time on helping people understand and develop GenAI solutions for one of the Big Cloud Providers.
While he loves fiddly technical solutions using RAG, Agentic Search, and Fine Tuned LLMs, he gets his main "GenAI kick" from seeing it solve real problems and making people's lives easier.

Together, Johan and Victoria make up a perfect storm, where the Venn Diagram of Victoria's deep Learning and Education experience as a Lecturer combined with Johan's bordering-on-obsessive interest in and practical experience with Generative AI has a spot right in the middle of the overlap for @TeacherGenAIToolkit.
