Victoria's passion for education comes from teaching in schools for many years and working with the next generation of teachers. She currently works as a Lecturer in Education for a London University, focusing on the primary and secondary PGCEs. She is half-way through a PhD in generative art and physics education with the University of Warwick, where she also obtained her degree in Physics. She is an unusual hybrid between art and physics, as echoed by her experience with fine art masters modules and research in climate at the University of Oxford.
Her main drive is to equip teachers with tools to increase their confidence with adaptive teaching.
Johan is a born "techie" and Cloud Architect, who has spent the last 25 years working his way through a variety of different positions in Software Development, starting out in Bioinformatics, then Finance, then Cloud Architecture, culminating in being lucky enough to be able to work full time on helping people understand and develop GenAI solutions for one of the Big Cloud Providers.
While he loves fiddly technical solutions using RAG, Agentic Search, and Fine Tuned LLMs, he gets his main "GenAI kick" from seeing it solve real problems and making people's lives easier.Â

Together, Johan and Victoria make up a perfect storm, where the Venn Diagram of Victoria's deep Learning and Education experience as a Lecturer combined with Johan's bordering-on-obsessive interest in and practical experience with Generative AI has a spot right in the middle of the overlap for @TeacherGenAIToolkit.
